Dear Best Present Ever -
Last night we celebrated my birthday by going to the "The Melting Pot" to have a chocolate desert in downtown DC. I had so much fun just talking and sharing even though we both didn't feel the best. You really are my best friend and soulmate. I have never liked birthdays - but somehow with you I look forward to getting old and fulfilling our dream of sitting together on the porch and remembering all of our "GREATS" together. You certainly made this night a Great for me. Thank you for being my best present ever!I love you ~

Awwhh.. I felt so sorry for you because you were feeling so terrible.. I just wanted to make you feel better for your birthday! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I always enjoy spending time with you. You really are my best friend. I'm SO glad you still think about sitting on our front porch together. I remember the first time we talked about that.. many years ago. I too GREATLY look forward to that day.. but I want to cherish and savor every moment we have from now until then!!
