This 4th of July we took the kids downtown DC to watch the fireworks on the mall. 
Although the day did not go as we had planned, I still think everyone had a good time and during the trip I realized all over again why I fell in love with you. I love you because of how you love your family and want things to be just perfect... :)

- Watched the parade
- Created candles with beeswax in the white house visitor center
- Signed the declaration of independance as the Maryland delegation
. - Went to the Archives and saw the actual declaration of independance and looked at a picture of the people that we acted as when we signed.
- Relaxed at the hotel
- Watched fireworks over the white house

You know what I love about you? You can take something ordinary, and turn it into something great! This was a hard holiday, and even summer for us as far as any type of getaway. We all really needed a vacation, but with Kaiden's Doctors telling us not to travel due to Kaiden not having his vacines, it made it hard on us all. But you are SO good to me and to our family. You found a reason for us to GO somewhere, even if we couldn't go far! I am so lucky to have a husband that knows what I need and is able to push through frustrations and help us cross over the bumps! I really enjoyed our adventure downtown for the 4th. I enjoyed going to the museums and turning it into an adventure that created a memory.. and I loved sitting with you on the steps with people walking all around (while the older kids looked for their special 'find' that they had lost to show us).. and just talking and being together. You are my very best friend, and I love doing life with you!
