Today we found out that you got the promotion that you have been waiting for for almost 2 years. I am so proud of what you have been able to accomplish. You have gone from nothing to now being a leader in your field and you have done it all by yourself. You should be extremely proud of your accomplishments. You are a true leader and I am so very lucky to have you in my life.
Shonda, you really do handle things with grace and beauty. You have handled yourself and every obstacle that you have faced over the past 5 years in your job with excellence and I am glad that your boss and your co-workers understand what a wonderful person that have as a part of their team.
I know that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to and I know that you have such a bright future - so bright that I have to wear shades all the time :) I love you and I am so proud of you!
P.S. I can't wait for your next promotion so we can go back and get some more Brewsters Ice Cream.

Thank you so much for your sweet words baby. I am proud of my accomplishments, but I really do thank you and give you some of the credit. You have stood beside me, encouraged me and supported me at every step. You saw something in me that I couldn't see myself and have helped me to make that person inside of me come alive. I really do thank you for being such an integral part of my life and for what you have helped me to accomplish. I really feel like I am a better career woman, a better mom, and a better wife because of you. I really do love you!!
