Dear Gold Medalist,I just want you to know how much I enjoyed sledding with you and the kids yesterday. I think you were the best sledder that I have ever seen - you were definitely the most enthusiastic. I was surprised at your adventurous side - the way that in my arms you were willing to slide down the very big and steep hill in our own backyard. I am glad that you love me and that you trust me enough to do things like that.
I also enjoyed being the hero at the bottom of the hill and able to catch the kids when they slide down. You really do make me a hero and I love you for that.
This is my best sledding memory and I just want you to know that I love you because you help make me a kid again.

You truly are my hero. I just want you to know that I wouldn't be so adventurous was it not for you. I think we help each other to stretch outside our comfort zones and try new things. I very much enjoyed sledding together and as a family. What great memories we are making!! Thank you for being in all my memories!
